It’s normal to understand the past -and to still feel stuck in it.

You understand the childhood dynamics.
You can name the trauma.
You’ve talked through the relationships that hurt you.
You’ve gained insight.

And yet...

Your body still braces. You still panic. You still people-please. You still feel shame.
You still react as though the past is happening now.

If that sounds familiar, you are not failing therapy. Sometimes insight alone is not enough.
Sometimes the nervous system needs healing too.

EMDR might be for you if you frequently feel:

• stuck despite years of insight

• triggered by things that “shouldn’t” feel this intense

• trapped in panic, freeze, or overwhelm

• caught in shame or negative self-beliefs

• emotionally pulled back into old experiences

• exhausted by repeating the same patterns

What EMDR can help with:

• trauma / PTSD / complex trauma
• childhood wounds
• anxiety rooted in past experiences
• panic attacks
• people pleasing and fawn responses
• shame and self-worth struggles
• medical trauma
• identity-based trauma
• relationship trauma
• painful memories that still feel active

My approach to EMDR:

I offer EMDR in a warm, relational, and grounded way. This is not about pushing you into painful material before you’re ready.

We begin with preparation, resourcing, and building a sense of safety. We move at a pace your system can tolerate. I integrate EMDR with somatic awareness and depth-oriented therapy, meaning we attend not only to memories, but to the whole person carrying them. You do not need to “do it perfectly” for it to be meaningful, and healing doesn’t have to mean forgetting.

I also offer EMDR Intensives- focused, half-day therapy sessions designed to help you make deeper progress in less time.

Hi, I’m Resha.

I work with thoughtful, sensitive, and overwhelmed adults who are ready for deeper healing. My style is compassionate, steady, and trauma-informed. If you’ve done therapy before and still feel stuck, EMDR may be an important next step. We can talk through your goals, history, and whether EMDR feels like a good fit for where you are right now.
